Dear friends and voters,

It is with a sense of urgency that I am compelled to share this information with you. On April 19, 2010 I resigned from my volunteer position as the Dawson County Chairperson for the Tom Graves for Congress Campaign due my discovery of troubling conduct on the part of the campaign. After extensive research, I discovered violations of Federal Election Commission rules and U.S. Congressional rules, unethical conduct and outright lies about other candidates.

This is indicative of Tom Graves’ method of managing his business and it is VERY unacceptable behavior for a potential U.S. Congressman.

Additionally, it is of critical concern that multiple Washington special interest groups are funneling money into the Graves campaign from outside the State of Georgia. This is the problem we have right now in Washington. We DO NOT need to elect a Congressman that is not even supported by the 9th District and whose loyalties will not be to the 9th District but to Washington special interest groups.

Another concern is a person is known by the company they keep. In light of Chip Pearson’s activities last week, his  close relationship and support of Tom Graves leaves me wondering who is controlling who and what is being done for self-interest and  not for the interest of Dawson County and the 9th District.

Our answer to these concerns is to elect Lee Hawkins as our Congressman. I urge you to follow my lead and vote for Lee Hawkins for Congress on May 11 and July 20. Senator Hawkins has been very up front and transparent with me. I am comfortable with Senator Hawkins’ professional and personal integrity having experienced them through my own interaction and investigation. He has overcome many difficulties and has much wisdom. Lee Hawkins is pro-9th District; he is pro-life; he has demonstrated he understands and supports our water issues; and he has been a successful dentist for more than 30 years which makes him knowledgeable about health care issues and a stable, creditable businessman. He WILL work to repeal ObamaCare. He WILL work to eliminate earmarks. He WILL work to reduce government and taxes for us. He is NOT in anyone’s pocket. He has NOT benefited personally or financially from being in office.

PLEASE join me and my family in voting for Lee Hawkins for Congress on May 11.
